Roman North African LampDescription
This lamp is broken on the wick hole end and also in the center around the oil hole. It has an animal (dog or sheep) with various types of decorative designs all around the center. The lamp is from North Africa but ended up in Jerusalem and was bought by a man named Sinclair in 1929. There are documents with it to support this information. I bought it on eBay in 2014. No potter's mark.Collections
