Pair of Late Egyptian/Roman Ushabti FiguresDescription
Of expensive material, well-molded figurines depicting Osiris are found in tombs of royalty and aristocracy. These mass-produced glass-paste (faience) ushabtiu were put in commoners' tombs. These two objects, despite different coloring, come from the same mold. Purchased in Egypt about 1980.Collections
